Ramble On

Wandering the streets we found a cat and heron.

Trouble Already

I was digging in Jenny’s messenger bag getting my sunglasses and this cop came up and asked “I assume you know this lady and you weren’t stealing from her bag.”  We talked to him for quite a while.  He was super freindly.  What a concept that a policeman might be a friendly ambassador for a city.

We walked all over London.  Across Tower Bridge.  Had lunch at St. Katherines Dock.  Did a quick buzz through the national gallery (Van Gogh’s Sunflowers).  Perfect weather.

Last night had a lovely dinner at Sommertown Coffee House pub, a popular place but not out of hand.  We’ve mostly recovered from jetlag.  Having a great time.  Off to Amsterdam in the morning.
